'Buena Onda” (Good Vibes) is what La Casa Roja is all about! For more than 16 years, La Casa Roja has been known as Santiago's funnest hostel. This restored colonial mansion with excellent facilities has become a travellers favorite. Ideally located close to all travellers requirements.

Located in Santiago's ex aristocractic neighborhood Brasil which is now a patrimonial area. La Casa Roja is situated just a few hundred metres from 4 different metro stations. Close to Bars, Restaurants and Nightlife. Just a 10 min walk to the city centre and numerous of santiagos most popular tourist attracions, plus banks and moneychangers. Just a short walk to the airport bus. Safe, well lit area with plenty of pedestrian traffic, the sector boasts some of the cities finest architecture

The worst hostel I have ever wasted $25 on!
Stray animals roaming the kitchen jumping all over counters where food is prepared and eating people's food off the shelves. Doors in rooms that can't be closed without locking someone out.
WiFi that barely works throughout the hostel.
Busted and non working table tennis.
Non working Jacuzzi. Cold water showers. False advertised amenities yet none of them working.
Staff who don't know, dont give a toss, and couldn't care less.
