Welcome to Vilnius and welcome to Fortuna Hostel!
Whether you arrive by bus or train, you have less than a ten minute walk from where we will be waiting for you. From the hostel to the beautiful Dawn Gate (Old Town Gates) is a short walk.
We have private rooms as well as dormitories. Come solo or as a couple or part of a group and you will be welcome. You can prepare your own meals for yourself or with new friends you have just met. Sit on the balcony sipping free tea or coffee while watching the trains roll by in front of you. After a great day of exploring Vilnius, hang out here and play cards, chess, checkers, and backgammon.
All of the staff speak English and will be glad to answer your questions. We all love Vilnius and will be glad to point you in the right direction no matter what you want to see or do. No doubt you and the other guests will end up making new friendships, some of which will last for a long time. The staff will be happy to give you advice and suggestions regarding visas, ongoing tickets to other cities and countries. We are here to make sure you have the best possible time. With a full kitchen, free lockers, and free parking, we do our best to make sure you take home good memories of your visit to Vilnius.

This has more the feeling of a halfway house. It’s mainly older Russian men. Also none of the staff speaks English. Prepare to communicate via Google translate. Everything is fairly clean but shower is a bit odd two stalls in one room. It does have a nice equipped kitchen. ONLY stay here if you have no other choice. One bright side is recept named Alvira. She is a super sweet woman and very helpful. She’s only thing this “hostel” has going. Also there are no computers or foosball table as in pic

Not a good hostel unfortunately, I couldn't properly sleep for not even one hour due to smell of old bedding and sweat in the room I stayed in. Can't recommend especially for women, as you do not feel very safe. Facilities have probably been ready for renovation for years and however cheap it is to stay for one night, it is not worth it and shouldn't be advertised. However the doorkeeper was friendly and helpful (offered to call a cab for the next morning).

Pleasant staff. Not so pleasant atmosphere. The interior is dated and doesn't look like much effort was put into it. Some beds aren't very comfortable (thin mattress and super squeaky metal bunk beds). Cleanliness was worse than I expected after reading other reviews. The floor in the shared room was a little dirty but the bathroom was another level..literally everything covered in grime; walls (floor to ceiling), rubbish bin, little shower shelves, cupboard above the sink.
Would not recommend.
