The House Hostel

Experience the warm and informative Indonesian hosts in The House Hostel, Gili Trawangan!

The House Hostel is a typical 90s style Indonesian house, surrounded by trees and gardens, with a nice breeze. We have spacious private rooms, and also dorm rooms with 2 or 3 bed options, all with ensuite bathrooms. Located about 400 meters from the Jetty and central area, it is easy to reach the beach and the bars, yet far enough from the busy area to get a good and restful sleep.

We have 9 rooms in total, which is a perfect number to meet other travelers/backpackers in a more intimate manner, not too crowded and not too quiet. We love helping you to organize group events, show you around the island, exchange stories, or even plan your next destinations to experience more of Indonesia!

Last but not least, our Banana Pancake breakfast is one of the best in Gili T! We have included this in the room price!

1. Check-in time will be 12:00 pm unless your beds are available sooner. We can store bags in our reception if you are early and all our public facilities are available while you wait for your check-in.
2. Check-out time is 11:00 am. But again, we can store bags in our reception if you check-out late, and all our public facilities are still available to use.
3. Cash payment only at check-in, however everything can be discussed at The House Hostel.
