We are located right at the Lanquin river shore where you can enjoy swimming in the natural river pool, dive from a tree or just relax by the shore. The Hut is perfect for couples who want to enjoy a relaxed time by the river.

The Hut has impressive views to the mountains and river. Early in the morning you can enjoy the birds singing with a cup of coffee made from local fresh toasted coffee beans, then head to the restaurant to have a fulfilling breakfast so you have the energy you need to enjoy Semuc Champey; after a great day exploring and adventuring the Semuc Champey pools, the caves, tubing and rafting, you can just relax at the deck with an artisan beer or a natural juice; we will then prepare an exquisite dinner so you can rest peacefully and get ready for the next day.

Features include a swimming pool in the river, large open terraces with hammocks and breathtaking views.

We can arrange a variety of tours so you can make the most out of your day. We will give you the best experience with local guides and all the safety precautions that you need. The tours vary from Semuc Champey to river experiences like tubing, kayaking, riverboarding or rafting. If you stay at the Rafting Hut By The River you will be right at the action spot for all river experiences. We are the perfect spot for put in and put out for all river tours. We will arrange transportation to-from the hostel to Semuc Champey or all the activities you wish to take during your stay.

Rafting Hut by The River Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 3 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
