BACOA - A Mountain Experience
Bacoa sits on the edge of a lake in the Antioquian mountains of Colombia, only 2h from Medellin. The charming country house is the perfect place for an adventure off the beaten track and a great starting point for a trip towards the colorful city of Guatape or to the famous rock of Peol.
Within the beautiful area of the hostel you can spend your time relaxing in hammocks, playing board games, practicing your balance on the slackline and balance board or renting a SUP to explore the surroundings on the water. We also invite you to enjoy the food of our restaurant or grab a drink at the bar and sit by the bonfire, which is lit throughout the whole day and serves as a sacred place of gathering for the hostel community. For a mindful start of the day youre welcome to join our Yoga class in the morning.

We offer a variety of accommodations for every budget.
CABINS: four beautiful wooden cabins with glass front, double bed and private toilet. Enjoy waking up to the sunrise over the lake and experiencing a cosy, peaceful and unique time in the middle of nature.
PRIVATE ROOMS: one room for two people each.
DORM: six and eight beds and enough space to store your belongings.

Restaurant information:
- Breakfast included.
- No public kitchen, as our restaurant offers lunch and dinner.
