My bf and I stayed in a private room with an ensuite, and it felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The location was incredible!!! It was such a short walk to get into town and walk to the beach. It was perfect. We booked a surf lesson through the hostel and also had an amazing time. The ladies at the front desk were also lovely. We will be back!! 10/10 hostel

We loved our two night stay with Amar Hostel & Suites! We stayed in a private room and it was very spacious, clean and had a nice view. The shared spaces were very nice and clean as well. We loved the cooking area, garden and rooftop!
Staff were all very nice and the atmosphere was very chill, which was what we were looking for.

The reception hours don't correspond with the times on the website, the real reception hours are 10-14 and 15-20
Even when you arrive this isn't communicated as the sign states it is until midnight
When I send an email in the morning to try and confirm we can drop out things off before check-in it was left unattended. Non responsive on the phone whatsapp and nobody at reception when you want to checkin.
No response when asking for the WiFi password either
