I enjoyed my stay. Mariano is a nice flexible host. A bit of road noise penetrates garden but not the rooms. I recommend asking price of food and what you get in advance. You can also use Rappi App for food delivery. It is 30 mins away from Poblado with public transport and 20 mins with Uber when there is no traffic.

Expect a different experience. More intimate. More genuine. So much to say here. But so little time and characters. Very easy to find (6$ from Poblado cab) Welcoming feeling from Cici. Beautiful rooms design and art everywhere. Beautiful garden. Very Comfortable bed. Mariano showed up the next day. Great owner with a big heart. Cooked and drank a bit of mezcal. Props to Laika and Leon (cat/dog of house). Real experience with warm people. Ideal to rest or simply share conversation. WIFI is A

Outstanding! The Secret Buddha exceeded all expectations. By far the best hostel we've experienced in the region. Mariano and Ceci went above and beyond the call of duty, their hospitality and care were the best part of our stay which included deli traditional and international home cooked meals. Clean, and very comfy accomodations made us feel like we're home and pleasantly welcomed. We feel grateful and privileged, thanks for sharing your graceful company with us Mariano. We'll be back soon!!!
