Jaeger’s Munich is a lively hostel located near the Hauptbahnhof, the Oktoberfest and the rest of central Munich. It features clean and modern rooms and our travellers have compared it favourably to a hotel. This hostel also has a popular onsite bar with daily drinks specials where guests can party and meet other travellers. We like their bargain-priced breakfast, ideal for starting a busy day sight-seeing around the city.

We provide quality accommodation for backpackers, small and large groups as well as the budget-minded business traveller.
Enjoy our dorms and single/double rooms. All rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, individual lockers and air conditioning. Our single and double rooms are equipped with one queen-size or two single beds, private bathroom, TV, and air conditioning.
Bed linen is included. Towels are included in the single and double rooms and are also available to rent for €2 per towel with 10€ cash deposit. It’s free to use our lockers but please bring your own 40mm padlock; you can also rent one for €1 per day with 10€ cash deposit.
Located right in the city (near central station), our friendly staff will gladly give you all the insider tips you need to enjoy Munich at its best.
This is the perfect starting point for your adventure. Lots of museums, nightspots, pedestrian zones and the Oktoberfest are only 10 minutes’ walk away. All sites that are not in walking distance can be reached comfortably and fast by public transport.
We offer breakfast buffet between 8 - 11 am everyday.
A range of cold beers and soft drinks are available in the lobby.
We also have a free Internet terminal and vending machines with snacks and drinks.
There’s free Wi-Fi in all the public areas and at our travel info point we provide free city maps and free city tours in English and Spanish.
Reception is open 24hrs so there’s no curfew. We also have a common room.

Please note that we have a strict age restriction in dormitories with 6 or more beds. Guests must be between the ages of 18 and 35 in order to stay in these shared dorms. If you are a group and you book the entire dorm for yourselves there is no age limit.

Extremely close to the main rail station and very convenient to the city center. Check-in smooth and easy, check-out likewise. I had a private room with ensuite bath. It was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi is fast and reliable. The lobby area was warm and comfortable to sit and work in. I was completely pleased with my stay and will stay again the next time I come to Munich. Highly recommend.

The location was good but the room that we were given was very gloomy.It was a 8 bed mixed dorm where all the beds had 2 sockets each for charging right next to them, while I and my friend had 1 socket combined. We had booked the stay for 3 nights and requested the receptionist to change our beds so that we had 1 docket each at least. He simply lied saying they were all checked-in when 2 beds were empty for 2 days that we were there!

Guy at check in was rude. i was given a bed a noisy basement room, with corridors of exposed pipes. only lockers in the rooms were only big enough for a laptop, there was no luggage storage in rooms. so everyone had their luggage piled up in the middle of a small room which was toom small for the amount of people. They charge to rent locks (as mine didnt fit) and other amenities, whereas others only charge desposits. i liked the chilled vibe of the bar area,but wouldn't stay again, i left early

Jaeger's Munich says
We know what it's like to travel so we know what our guests appreciate. I think our guests most like our free stuff, like the free welcome shot, free lockers and linen, free city maps and city walking tours in English and Spanish.
The Oktoberfest is just 10 minutes' walk away, as is the city centre and heaps of beer gardens. Personally I recommend that people visit the Hofbräuhaus.
For fun we do a lot of socialising here, meeting new people from all over the world and having nice chats with our friendly crew, with live acts performing at the bar, plus poker nights and other events.
We particularly cater to backpackers and groups aged 16 to 30.
