Great hostel. Awesome vibe, great staff (I only ever seemed to see one guy walking around seemingly running the place solo, but he was an absolute champ). Free breakfast which was great, especially for a hostel. Rooms and kitchen were kept clean, well equipped. Nice lounge and a pool table. Fitness room looked a bit dated and wasn't very extensive, but again most hostels don't offer one at all. Hot tub is nice! Would recommend!

This property was central to all things in Franz Josef. When I think of a backpackers hostel, the image of this place pops up. Modest breakfast in the mornings, and soup in the evenings. The people are polite, and engaging. The facilities are clean, with hot water and good pressure. Parking is free on site or on the street and activities within walking distance. I would stay here again if I found myself back in this area.
