La Familia Hostel is a 3 storey building with a big terrace where you can enjoy the sun. Also it is super fun just sitting there and watch the insane amount of people passing by on calle 10. On the 3rf floor you can find a lovely rooftop bar, where you can enjoy a cold beer or a Mojito.

Our stay (or non-stay) was pretty disappointing at Familia. First of all, be aware that you’ll be charged 7% (USD8 for us) fees if you want to pay by card. It’s never indicated.
The location is okay, the place is clean. Beds are not comfortable though and it gets very warm at night. The bunk beds come with a very very loud fan that would wake everybody up when you turn it on.
When we asked to extend our stay, they wanted to charge us USD30 by beds. We claimed that we only paid $15 per beds so far and that

Dude was throwing up in the bathroom and did not flush it. Smelled terrible. Slept next to a window that was next to the bathroom and all the light was just shining in my eyes for hours.
