There’s only one bathroom per room and after check-out you can’t use it anymore. So no toilet visit or shower after 11. I got kicked out because I said something about it after I first asked friendly if I could have a quick shower but unfortunately the lady at the reception got mad instantly because it was after check-out time. You can’t store your backpack after 1pm so you can’t hang out after that, even if you have a late bus that day. There’s a bar across the street that is very loud during the night and

What I liked about this hostel: the staff, they were really nice and explained me where to go. Also the breakfast is very nice in the hostel, highly recommend. The rooms are good, not amazing, but fine. :) However what I found weird was that I had to pay a half day to store my luggage. Normally you can leave your luggage in a room untill you leave. I would say that was a big downside for me. The staff made it up though.

This place has the potential to be incredible however...
the staff are hustlers and really let this place down.
Instead of bag storage, they charge a full nights stay. One girl even paid for a bed to leave her bags, gave the bed to her friend to sleep that night and the staff charged her friend again for the same bed.
Our dorm ran out of toilet paper - one staff member tried charging my friend $15 Reis for a toilet roll!
We just ended up laughing at every new instance. It became a rolling joke
