Very nice breakfast and the owner was absolutely lovely. However it is quite out of the way and the setting is not as peaceful as it looks with all the mosquitoes!

Pros: Beautiful scenery; Spotless; large rooms; owner collected me from the bus stop late at night (there are no Grabs in Phong Nha). Cons: No locks on dorm door, with anyone being able to walk in off street and enter rooms - as a female solo traveller I didn't feel safe (even if the area is generally a safe area) - all the hostels I've been to have had locks on doors; Owner very pushy about booking tours through him (his tour more expensive than via Trip advisor); bed exceptionally hard
