Our completely renovated and modernized historic building features a spectacular interior mezzanine, expansive kitchen and dining room, and spacious common areas. HI New Orleans will wow hostel newbies and veterans alike with our comfortable rooms and thoughtful amenities. Proceed right through our lobby to visit Besame, our local restaurant partner, for cocktails and exquisite Latin American cuisine.
Located just across the street from the French Quarter, HI New Orleans is truly centrally located with quick access to many of our city's vibrant neighborhoods and must-see attractions. You can experience everything from crawfish and beignets to zydeco and parades, and so much more.
HI New Orleans features immaculately clean first-class dorms featuring ample storage, electronic locks & lockers, bunk lights, privacy curtains, very sturdy bunks, super comfy mattresses, in-locker charging, and access to more single-occupancy hall baths & showers than you will ever need. Our private rooms all feature a Queen Bed, ensuite bathroom, chromecast TV, and room safes. Book our Queen with Bunks private room to include a bunk bed and accommodate four. We offer free or inexpensive hostel tours and events and our whole hostel has fantastic WiFi coverage.

Let me say this. I’ve been all over the world even in super clean hostels in South Korea and this one is the most clean functional and nice place I’ve ever been. The front desk and housekeeping staff are all so kind and nice. Everything works perfectly, beds have their own sockets, lights, little shelves and curtains. The lockers are spacious and heve light inside. The place is the safest because you need your elect to access the property at night and there is a second door you have to go through with your

Great place, very near to French Quater. The rooms were very clean and the staff was polite and ever-ready to help. They had good simple breakfast menu. We were never denied whenever we asked for fresh towels. The rooms are quite and well maintained. Had a great experience staying at Hi New Orleans. Will surely come back again

This is the nicest hostel I have stayed in! The facilities were clean, the breakfast was great, staff were helpful, atmosphere was very cool. So close to everything in new orleans you want to see and do. Lots of information about things to do and see in new orleans. Cool and comfortable sitting areas in the lobby and in the tv room. Clean laundry. Accessibility. The beds were sooo comfy and so smart to have a curtain for privacy, big lockers you dont need your own padlock for, safe area. Really clean bathro
