Farol da Barra is wonderful and very close to great beaches and restaurants. The facilities were comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The overall vibe of the hostel is very inclusive and loved that! I would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone looking to explore Salvador. The location is perfect and the staff is amazing!

Def it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a hostel. Facilities are as shown in the pictures and location-wise cannot ask for something better, no more than 5 minutes walk to get to restaurants, bars and beaches, however, I’d say that what makes it really special is the staff, since the moment I arrived at the hostel until the very last second they were really kind and helpful. There is such great vibe that you could feel somehow as if you were sharing a place with long-time friend
