La Playa Hostel & Rooftop is everybody's home away from home, especially for travelers who want to be free like the sea. We are a hostel located in the heart of Poblado, where we are surrounded by trendy restaurants and the most famous clubs. La Playa has a relaxed atmosphere, modern social spaces and activities throughout the week so you can meet others. We want to help you have your perfect Medellin trip whether you want something more authentic Colombian or more touristic bougie, we got you fam. We will be here at the end of the day as a safe space for whatever you need! We offer both private and shared rooms, a spectacular terrace overlooking Medellin's most famous party street, a fully equipped communal kitchen with storage boxes, comfy hammocks to relax or work, a nice bar where you can occasionally meet the best local DJs and share signature drinks with travelers and locals, on weekends.

In La Playa Hostel & Rooftop you can discover the city on foot, with easy access to the main shops and public transport lines and the Poblado Metro Station. We're about a ten minute walk from the metro and a two minute walk from the market, atm and pharmacy. We can help you out with whatever you need: tips for the city, recommendations, tours free or paid nearby, restaurant reservations, etc.

Check out before 11:00, We charge late check outs.

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards. (This property may pre-authorise your card before arrival).
Taxes included.
Cancellation policy: 72 hours before arrival.

No curfew.
Reception available 24 hours.
No children allowed.
To keep the hostel peaceful, we have a set of rules and regulations that must be signed before check in. If you would like these rules sent to you beforehand, send us a quick message so we can send them to you.

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATIONS:
Provenza is generally a loud area on the weekends. If you are a light sleeper, we do recommend looking for a hostel in the Manila area which is close enough to walk about 20 minutes but far enough from the music.
