Snuffel is a youth hostel with a capacity of 120 beds. The bar and its outside terrace are considered a meeting point for (mainly young) travelers and locals.
Snuffel is a socially engaged touristic project. Thanks to its diverse offer, it lowers travel barriers for young wanderers. Special attention goes out to domestic social tourism: youth tourism, school excursions, socio-cultural associations.
Facilities include a fully equipped guest kitchen, hot showers, open minded vibes, no curfew or lockout, bicycle store, a grocery shop next door and a patio/terrace to relax on. Our helpful and informative staff are able to provide you with any information you may need during your stay.
Our hostel is centrally located in the old part of Bruges, 500 meters from the Market Square, the Belfry of Bruges and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. (Midnight the day before arrival, local hotel time)
This property charges the total amount of your stay 1 day before arrival.
Check in from 14:00 to 22:00. Please contact us if you are delayed!
Check out before 10:00.
Taxes not included - occupancy tax 4 EUR per person per night.
General:
No curfew.
Reception is open form 08:00 to 22:00.

Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms and friendly/helpful staff. The atmosphere among visitors during my stay was very friendly and the availability of board games and drinks helped facilitate talking to people. The location is also very accessible from the train station via bus as well as the rest of the town center.

I liked this hostel. Nice to have a kitchen and free lockers for luggage storage. The rooms were very basic but good. However there is not enough bathrooms for the amount of rooms who share them. However, shower had great pressure and hot water. Didn’t find it very social and didn’t meet many people. Not great for solo travellers. Also quite a walk from the train station. The breakfast was good though! Wish there was scheduled events.
