Bambuda Lodge

Bambuda Lodge is the only place in Bocas with a waterfront location and a massive pool. Only 5 minutes from town, Bambuda offers the perfect blend of good vibrations and chilled out atmosphere. We have a 150 foot waterslide from the bar to the ocean, a coral reef for snorkeling and acres of lush jungle for exploring. Our on-site bar and restaurant will keep the cold drinks flowing while you relax by the pool. Spend time in one of our many interesting hang out spots where you can enjoy the amazing view and the delicious food with friends.

We can organize any and all of the available activities in the surrounding area. Tours and excursions can be booked with a simple phone call and many of the companies will pick you up and drop you off right from Bambuda Lodge. We will gladly explain everything you need to know about the area, and which activities will best suit you, depending on your interests. You can have an action packed vacation on any budget.

Our property is covered by lush natural rainforest with 30 different kinds of fruit trees growing. Behind the hotel you will find miles of available hiking in our own private jungle. Around the house you will find mango, lemon, pineapple, bananas, bread fruit and several other tropical fruits growing.Directly off the dock we have a coral reef teeming with marine life. Borrow our snorkeling gear or rent our kayaks or pirate island and go exploring!

Getting to us and around Bocas:

Bambuda Lodge is located in Solarte Island, we are fully surrounded by nature, jungle and an unique view to the see, kind of isolated but to 10 minutes from Isla Colón by boat (water taxi), it means there are no any other food and beverages services where you can go by walk, we advise this because probably your travels plans does not match with our are privileged location. Knowing that we can also arrange for you your transportation from Isla Colon to Bambuda Lodge contact us once you have booked. Once here we also have a water taxi leaving every hour during the day which you have to book at least with 30 minutes in advance. We also can arrange transportation form 6PM until 11PM form Bambuda Lodge. to any other Island but you need to book before 5PM. You can request our prices once you have booked.


Once here, we easily arrange a water taxi to take you directly from Bambuda Lodge to just about anywhere around the Bocas Islands you may want to go, day or night. We have a board that lists water taxi prices & info, and can arrange for one to pick you up at any time you need!

Reception is open from 7:30 AM - 10:30 PM.

If your arrival is later than 10PM please contact us, we will be happy to assist you.

Also If your arrival time is after 5:30 p.m. and you want to join us for our family dinner, please contact us to send you the menu options, since we take orders until 5:30 P.M., to serve dinner at 7:30 P.M

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival.
You'll need to send the security code (CVV/CVC) of the card you used when booking (this is the last 3 digits of the number on the signature strip at the back of your card) in order to fully secure your booking, 48 hours after your booking.

Cancellation policy: 72 h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged for your entire stay.

We do not accept customers younger than 16 years of age.

Checking in here at Bambuda Lodge is possible from 15:00 onwards, but we would like to invite you to come earlier and enjoy our Lodge.
Check out from 11:00 am.
Payment upon checkout by cash or credit card (3% fee).
Taxes not included: - 10%
Breakfast not included.

NOTE: Please note that Bambuda Lodge's guests are mainly English-speaking people from Europe and North America, so please be aware that this may be an impediment to meeting other guests.
