Hawea Hotel & Lodge

Hawea Hotel and Lodge is located just 10 minutes' drive from the township of Wanaka and is set on the lake front of Lake Hawea. Located between the West Coast and Central Otago this is a great spot to stop on your way, enjoy the relaxing location of the hotel or use as a base for skiing, fishing or hiking. The hotel is located around a 30-minute drive from ski fields including Cardrona, Treble Cone and Snow Farm ski areas.

The Hawea Hotel offer two styles of accommodation:
The Hotel rooms have uninterrupted views of Lake Hawea and the surrounding mountains. Carefully set up, the rooms are for relaxing and all come with a private balcony to enjoy one of New Zealand’s finest vistas.

The Lodge rooms are in a separate building from the Hotel, and especially suited for the budget conscious traveller. There are both private or shared room options to accommodate single travellers or those travelling in groups. All the Lodge rooms come with access to free WiFi, and all linen and towels included in your room rate.

The Hotel has a Lakeside restaurant and Gardenside bar, which offer an extensive menu available throughout the day (menu changes seasonally), including local cuisine, wines and beers.
