Cancellation policy: 48 hs before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the full amount of your stay.

Payment upon arrival by credit and debit cards.

The hospitality was unmatched at this beautiful hostel. I had the opportunity to meet the team and get some inside tips on the local trails/hikes surrounding the area. The overall quality of the establishment was a solid 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks again to the BaseCamp team.

I had the most lovely time there. The train station is near by, and some bus lines also go through the village, including ones going to the nearby Mount Snowdon. Nearby grocery stores & restaurants. Has a drying room for your stuff after a hike under the rain.
The dorms are really comfy, and everyone has curtains, lockers, etc. Very clean.
No kitchen or kitchenette yet (the hostel opened quite recently), but hot boiling water available (and sometimes microwave). Lovely and welcoming staff, cute social area.

Our host, Mike, was incredibly helpful, offering great advice on climbing Snowdon, including nearby parking options and summit conditions. The facilities are brand new, with spacious bathrooms and hot showers. There’s also a fantastic chill-out area and café in the lobby. The dorms are of excellent quality, featuring individual night lights, charging sockets, and privacy curtains for each bed. One thing to note: parking is limited, with only about 10 spaces available behind the property.
