Sura offers simple, laid back, comfortable, affordable accommodation in the city center. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from The City Center, within 500 meters down from the hotel there are main bus stations to travel around Costa Rica.
All rooms in Sura have their own bathrooms. Most of the rooms have access to their own outside sitting terrace area.
Sura has a garden and outside area for enjoying. Free tea, coffee, and mineral water all day long are included in room rates. Safe deposit in reception for valuables is free of charge. Free bedding, beds, sheets, and towels are included in the price.
Free high-speed wi-fi is also available, and we have one fully equipped kitchen for free guest use.
Sura is a quite social hotel but not a party one. There is 24 hours reception with people working on the desk who are knowledgeable and helpful for your possible needs, wishes, and questions.

After a few months travelling, San Jose was my last stop. I was seeking a location that I could get some rest, privacy and do work. Sura was great for that! I had everything I needed within or in close proximity to me. Breakfast was great, staff were lovely and rooms were clean. There was significant mould in the ceiling of the shower, otherwise all was good.
