One of the only hostels I've been at with curtains for the beds (should be a standards, really). Very thoughtful, engaged and considerate staff. A room and breakfast is cheaper than JUST breakfast at Marriott. My second time at an ITH hostel (the other being Hermosa Beach). Will surely return or go to any other location if in the area

Safest feeling hostel in SF with best location! This hostel has a warm homey vibe with kind people, and Chinatown is extremely safe and great for tourists. There are two great cheap restaurants right at the corner with 5 stars each on Google, plus a 15 minute walk from Coit Tower / Washington Sq Prk.

My recent 2 week's stay at the Pacific tradewinds hostel in San Francisco was a very enjoyable experience. I found the staff especially Asad, extremely proactive and his advice helped me to locate and visit all the city's wonderful attractions. On the spectacular roof terrace I was able to enjoy with rest of the guest an amazing bbq and karaoke nights. Meeting people from all parts of the world makes this place so special and the activities they hold makes guest comfortable. I will definitely return in 2025
