You will see hummingbird, parrots, parakeets, blue magpies, congo monkeys, capuchin monkeys ... you will feel in full contact with nature. Around the hostel there are a lot of restaurants and shops (pulperias).

We were in low season so on Ometepe island, there wasn’t as much going on. The hostel is in Balgue so if you are keen to do things over in that area, then it is an ideal location. There were power cuts on the last night which meant the fans stopped working so was very hot, but I think that was just an ideal wide thing. The staff were very friendly and the hostel had everything you needed for a good stay!

Fantastic property with everything you need. Helped us out with transport to and from the island, and with renting bikes. For the price you pay the room is nice, with a fan in the double room. Staff were incredible and so friendly. Near everything on the island by bike like ojo de agua and playa mangos- definitely would recommend to stay here!

I treated myself to the large bungalow and it was just beautiful. You could tell a lot of thought went into each detail to make it comfortable and lovely.
Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend
