Ok property, very funky inside. As others have said they have many pets, so be aware if you’re allergic.
Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Felt as if I was sleeping on the hard floor. Otherwise ok

Easily the best hostel I've stayed at in New Zealand! The staff are the loveliest people and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Rooms are comfy and spacious and the whole hostel is a visual delight with so many murals and interesting things to read and look at. They also offer free breakfast and free dessert each night! Very central to the small town of Picton. This place is not to be missed!

Was ok. A very weird fan vent that went all night so didn’t have the best nights sleep. Was good for a stopover for the ferry but the toilets weren’t super clean and the rooms had a funny smell. But for the price, it’s great. Comfy beds and the staff were super friendly.
