Just outside of hustle and bustle of old town, with Lapad bay parks following the seaside, forrests, and plenty of beaches in 10-15 minutes away by walk, or old town 10-15 minutes by public transport our small but spacious and cozy backpackers and digital nomads hot spot give you choice to relax and see Dubrovnik from different, locals perspective and become responsible traveler.
Residential, very safe and panoramic location, with free parking for your bicycles, bikes, cars or even minivan, upon notice.(available for private rooms only in high season)
We don't have a jacuzzi but we have a soul as once our friend said, this choice is perfect for solo travelers or friends in max of 4 person who like to have a bit of retreat, in spacious , artistic decorated property, with indoor and outdoor space for meeting other travelers, without party , crowd and noise of typical hostels. We have lab rescued dog and cat which are part of our life and are happy to greet you, so anyone who dont like animals don't stay here. We were part of the GOT filming project so if you are into that, you will like it even more as we still keep memorabilia from that time.
If you dare to learn a bit more of local culture and costumes, this is choice for you, as this place is run by 2 generation of locals with 40 years of hospitality experience(english, french and german spoken) who are proud to give you a home feel and inclusivity with fun approach and care. You have great facilities for preparing your own meals and relaxing on our terrace with a great panoramic view .
Here you may book tours with locals, even for free, we organize events and activities of responsible character and if you like to join to explore this experience be welcome!
People with mobility problems can book a free transfer from the bus terminal in Gruz port. Upon reservation we will send you all useful details about transfers, tours, chat group etc

I had a brilliant stay at this hostel. The staff at DBC were excellent, so welcoming and friendly. We were given a full tour of the property and a map of the local area, with loads of advice and tips of the local area. They even offered to run me to the airport! (Never had that before at a hostel). If could give 11 stars I would!
The facilities were brilliant, the common room for breakfast was great and the added TV room for chilling out on the evenings was an extra bonus for sure. The kitchen was stocked

This is a lovely, quiet little hostel that is outside of Old Town and great if you'd like to enjoy the beaches. I only stayed one night before moving into old town because I wanted a quiet night. My flight was extremely delayed, and I only arrived at 8 am, but the kind woman running the hostel let me sleep a few hours and check out very late. She offered me coffee and biscuits and gave me recommendations. I will say I couldn't get hot water to work, but this could have been my fault.

A home away from home!
It's a small hostel but that is the charm of it! Slightly outside the main area of Dubrovnik, but a short bus trip or a leisurely stroll to get to all the sights and attractions. Dubrovnik is super easy to navigate around!
The hostel is really well equipped, with a lounge room, well stocked kitchen, free tea/coffee/biscuits and great spots to lounge outside and relax. The beds are all single beds (not bunk!) so it's a nice change and warrants a good night sleep!
