Positives: great location, friendly staff, free water and breakfast, secured locked room doors & large window that can be opened. Comfortable shower with great water pressure.
Negative: there is no sheet to cover the blanket. I asked if they change the blankets every day to which one staff said no, they simply spray sanitize, and the other soar they change wit every day. Perhaps providing a second sheet to place between you and the blanket would be nice.

Really loved Sakura hostel! The staff were always friendly and very helpful.
The lounge area is nice, a bit cramped, but the room is large. The kitchens are GREAT for a hostel, I just wish I was there for a community cooking night!
The rooms were fine, bunks were outdated but beds and pillows were good. The lockers were much too small for my liking. The washrooms were always clean, but the shower functionality wasn’t very good (broken shower head sprays everywhere, and the hot water tap didn’t work prop
