The radiant heating in our room did not work. The shower was good with consistent hot water. We were fooled by thinking there was a kitchen for the guests to use as in the picture but there wasn’t. The acoustics are terrible and just opening the door leading to the hallway made a super loud noise in our room not to mention when other guests slammed their room door or at least that’s what it sounded like. The employees were nice and helpful though. The breakfast was fine and was from 6:30-9:30.

The hostel and the hotel are different locations so if you’re looking for the hostel vibe, I wouldn’t recommend this one. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant is different than the hotel and so it’s very awkward to get things from the restaurant unless you’re dining there. The rooms are ok, a little run down and not the cleanest. Overall I think you can get more for your buck elsewhere, but if others are booked, this isn’t a horrible place to stay.

This hotel is extremely charming. The location is a quick walk to the main strip with bars, restaurants and shops. Staff is extremely helpful and you are able to purchase everything needed in and around Calafate from them. We did a day tour from the hostel to the glacier, which was excellent. We also bought our bus tickets to el chalten right at front desk & bus picked us up outside. The rooms are simple but have everything you need for a comfortable stay! I would stay again!
