The People Hostel, the most Parisian hostel !
We offer a rooftop terrace with fantastic view on Paris iconic monuments, fast free WiFi, check-out until 11:00 am, comfy bunk beds (with curtains, reading light, power plugs, private lockers). We have the coolest bar in the area where we organise Jazz and electro parties with a carefully curated selection of local beer, coffee and french specialties.
We also offer : 24/7 reception, multilingual staff, city experts, yummy breakfast, one street terrace and one rooftop terrace with an amazing view.
The People Hostel is located in the arty district of Belleville which features a bunch of bars and coffee shops full of young and cool people, and close to all must-see in Paris (50m from Belleville metro hub).
The property is less than 10mn from Paris historical center: Le Marais, Châtelet, République, Notre-Dame, Saint Germain des Prés and has a Direct access to all historical places (Champs Elysées, Moulin Rouge, Père Lachaise)

Very few toilets for the number of guests they are accommodating. Wc in my floor was disgusting, the flush was not working. Went to 5th floor and it was out of order, then went to 3rd floor wc which was decent. I don’t know how they can ignore such basic facilities.

We stayed in a private room, so the cost was higher than regular hostel rates. The room was not fancy, with only one chair, and no TV unless you have your own subscription service, but the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Our room opened up onto the rooftop garden, which is lovely when the weather is good, but not when it's rainy or windy.
The hostel is located in an ethnically diverse area with lots of Middle eastern and Asian shops, rather than a traditional French character.
