Monu Family Paying Guest House

Monu was very hospitalable. I really enjoyed his walking tour and I learned a lot about Varanasi.

Very good location right next to The Golden Temple. The private room is small but near the bathroom and wifi router. The rooftop is cool to watch movies or take a smoke break. You can order breakfast the night before if you're going to sleep in after the Varanasi madness.

This is the best accomodation in Varanasi! So close to everything you want to see in Varanasi and such a lovely family that speaks good English. Monu was so accomodating and helpful with anything I needed. Check out Varanasi Cafe close to accomodation and Ghats great organic food and healthy baked goods!

Overall the place was confortable, the family was wonderful and the location was perfect. They do make food but they're not a restaurant so plan ahead. There are some nice cafes close. It's rather small so there isn't much atmosphere as far as a hostel, however it was nice and simple and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Really exciting location in the heart of the historical downtown near to the Ganga. Operated by a friendly and nice family. Authantic coocking course in their private kitchen. Original musical programme on the rooftop played by the family and friends....very good and famous local musicians. New dormitory beds for very resonable price. Warmly recommended for people who like to expecience something personal and authantic.

Monu's family isn't great. I advise you to let them pick you up when you get to Varanasi, arriving the first time can be difficult. The rest is just perfect. Great room, awesome food and caring people. I recommend it. We had an incredible time.
